Software Engr II - .net Core & Devops



As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs, and integrations, ensuring configurability and extensibility. This role focuses on building a configuration-driven and IoT-ready platform with workflow automation, real-time data processing, and GIS capabilities



Key Responsibilities


Design low-level architecture based on SOLID principles, adhering to system requirements. Develop code, automated unit tests, and automated integration tests. Review code and tests built by peers critically. Actively participate in SCRUM ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, product owners, DevOps engineers, and test engineers. Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability in all aspects of the system

Skills

4+ years of hands-on experience as a developer with MS .NET technologies and React JS. Strong proficiency in React.js (React Hooks, Redux, component lifecycle, state management). Familiarity with API security best practices (OAuth, JWT, authentication & authorization). Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug production issues efficiently. Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes is a plus. Expert-level proficiency with InstallShield for creating complex enterprise-grade installers. Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Octopus Deploy, Jfrog Artifactory. Strong experience with SecOps tools such as SonarQube, Black Duck Hub, Container Scans Proficient in scripting with PowerShell and/or other languages (Python, Bash). Solid understanding of source control systems (Git preferred) and branching strategies. Experience with build tools like MSBuild & Node Js Familiarity with virtual machine & cloud management (VMware, Hyper-V,Azure)

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
