Job Title: PHP Developer (WordPress / WooCommerce / Shopify / Laravel)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile PHP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, Shopify, Laravel, CodeIgniter, API integration, and third-party plugin/module development. You will be responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining web applications, e-commerce platforms, and custom solutions based on project requirements.

1. Key Responsibilities

a) Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites.

b) Create and modify custom WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce extensions.

c) Work with Shopify (theme customization, apps integration, API usage).

d) Build and maintain applications using PHP frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter.

e) Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM, ERP, and other tools.

f) Design and manage MySQL databases including queries, optimization.

g) Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing applications.

h) Optimize website performance, speed, and security.

i) Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

2. Required Skills & Qualifications

a) Strong proficiency in PHP with solid understanding of OOP concepts.

b) Hands-on experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and plugin/theme development.

c) Experience with Shopify theme customization and app integrations.

d) Proficient in Laravel and/or CodeIgniter frameworks.

e) Strong knowledge of MySQL and database design principles.

f) Experience in RESTful API development and third-party API integrations.

g) Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design.

h) Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide efficient solutions.

i) Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment processes.

j) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Preferred Qualifications

a) Experience working with e-commerce websites and payment gateway integrations.

b) Knowledge of SEO technical best practices.

c) Experience with cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.) is a plus.

d) Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

4. Experience

a) Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
