We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Engineer In this role, you will:

• The person is responsible for E2E test activities and implementation for BASE24 / Smart Vista (BPC).
• Is capable to manage E2E testing ( SIT, UAT, VPT, OAT, etc.)
• Understanding of EFT Switch (Base24/SmartVista), commands and simulators.
• Understanding of Cards Acquiring domain and Testing principles in various delivery models
• Analysis design and implementation of test solutions to fit the business requirements
• Is capable of effective stakeholder management, supporting business for making informed decisions based on test results, possess good analytical skills
• Develop Strategy / approach based on the business requirements. Write test strategy and test plans for testing phases.
• Ability to develop or alter simulator scripts for ATM/Switch testing.
• Disseminate the proposed changes and the approach to test to the team members
• Installing releases, fixes into SIT, UAT and testing.
• Planning and implementing changes into Production.
• Prepare Test Scenarios and Test Cases developed by the team members
• Identify the areas of improvement and come up with plans to optimize the test effectiveness
• Good communication skills
• Able to analyse functional changes to, or the development of, products and services and plan design
• Demonstrate a profound understanding of the business areas/ client and ability to recommend right decisions for the business
• Able to design, or provide assurance for, appropriate risk-based end-to-end system integration test model
• Able to stay abreast of industry developments to make cost-effective use of new and emerging tools and technologies
• Able to utilise a breadth of knowledge from across the wider technology and digital professions, strengthening the effective delivery of services
• Relevant professional awareness may include architecture, continuous integration and deployment, coding or scripting languages
• Able to visualise, articulate, solve complex problems and concepts, and make disciplined decisions based on available information
• Have ability to: apply logical thinking, gather and analyse information using comprehensive tools and techniques, use data to formulate both short-term and longer term strategic plans, identify and analyse options, and assess feasibility and operational impact
• Ensures that the business solution aligns with the vision, mission, objectives, strategy and the business and user needs and can identify and recognise a viable solution or control
• Requirement Analysis – work with the Test Lead/Test Manager on driving project requirement analysis and static testing
• Create Test ware – create test cases, test scenarios and test data that would be required to complete test execution for the project.
• Defects – defect reporting and ensuring that defects have the right amount of detail, are in the correct statuses/severity, escalated appropriately and tracked to closure.
• Escalate where appropriate to the LM or the PM

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant experience in Authorization Domain (BASE24, Smart Vista, Tango etc. Testing/ Implementation/ Development.)
• Domain/Testing/ Technical certification
• Experience in Card merchant acquiring domain.
• Experience on Simulators like MAS, VTS, Versa Test, or any other tool.
• Good at art of questioning and critical thinking
• Aptitude to learn tools/apps/processes/domains
• Ability to articulate thoughts spoken/written with global teams
• Knowledge of testing terminologies, processes and tools
• Exposure on working and guiding in a team environment on testing projects
• Coding skills. Ability to write code for automating testing processes, viz. Java
• Test Automation tools - Deep understanding of automation tools like Selenium / Cucumber
• Good understanding of Automation frameworks.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins / Ansible Tower.
• Application of version control tools like GIT, Nexus.
• Domain Knowledge: Payments, Card Issuing, Merchant Acquiring, Open Banking, Regulatory & Statutory guidelines/rules, Schemes.
