About the Team
The Lowe's Store Selling delivers low letency assisted checkout ( ACO) solution to our store associates. The team delivers high quality and uses cutting edge technology.
Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the MRV Store Selling team here at Lowes Bengaluru with at least 2+ years of relevant experience. Our frontend engineers contribute to their team's success by building and extending secure, scalable services and exposing clear, well-tested customer experience that enable our Retail Media Business teams to build customized touchpoints to engage our users. In addition to contributing to valuable new features, software engineers pay down tech debt, spike on novel solutions, and share responsibility for healthy live site operation.
Roles & Responsibilities

• Translates user stories and functional specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions in an agile environment.
• Collaborates with key stakeholders including product management, infrastructure and security to ensure that functional specifications are converted into flexible, scalable, and maintainable solution designs.
• Develop UI components using UI tech stacks (React, React Hooks, Redux, Redux-Saga/Redux-Thunk)
• Develops, configures, or modifies complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based applications.
• Validates and executes BDD scenarios to identify application errors and ensure software solutions meet functional specifications.
• Facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications by packaging solutions for deployment.
• Supports end-to-end test automation and other application testing efforts to ensure product quality.
• Mentors others by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.

Years of Experience

• 2 to 5 years into UI development

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).
• 2+ years of experience in software development or a related field

Primary Skills

• Proficient understanding of web fundamentals, design principles and web architecture.
• Proficient understanding and experience on HTML5, CSS3, Material UI and bootstrap responsive web design, JavaScript, ES6, asynchronous programming, functional programming and TDD/BDD.
• Experience on React, React Hooks, Redux, Redux-Saga/Redux-Thunk/Redux tool kit and related technologies.
• Experience with Node/Express/Fastify.
• Experience in building isomorphic web applications using JavaScript.
• Experience in unit testing frameworks like Jest, Enzyme, React testing libary
• Deep knowledge around aspects of scalability, load balancing, memory optimization and application performance for large scale cloud-based applications (1M+ users).
• Understanding of the CI-CD implementation and code versioning tools, such as Git, SVN, etc.

Secondary Skills (Desired)

• Experience with TypeScript, React Styled Components, React Storybook and JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with Accessibility, SEO and Web Analytics.
• Experience with Google cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Spinnaker.
• Experience with any JavaScript automation test framework.
• Understanding of AB test implementation.
