Role: Software Engineering Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineering Specialist to support L2/L3 Operations for the M6 platform. The role involves deep technical troubleshooting, code-level investigation, defect resolution, and operational excellence to ensure smooth and uninterrupted system functioning.

Key Responsibilities

L2/L3 Production Support

Provide comprehensive end-to-end L2/L3 support for the M6 platform.

Investigate and analyze code-level issues, logs, and defects.

Perform defect fixes, patch deployment coordination, and validate resolutions.

Manage incident and service request lifecycle within SLA.

System Restoration & Troubleshooting

Perform system restoration activities during outages or critical failures.

Troubleshoot issues related to OMS (Order Management System) and upstream/downstream integrations.

Identify and implement workarounds to ensure service continuity.

Configuration & Automation

Handle source code management, version control, and release support.

Develop and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Configure monitoring systems, alerts, and health checks for proactive issue identification.

Infrastructure & Tool Management

Support infrastructure components used by the M6 platform.

Perform tool configuration, environment setup, and performance optimization.

Ensure all systems follow operational standards and compliance guidelines.

Documentation & Best Practices

Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, knowledge base, and troubleshooting guides.

Collaborate with development and cross-functional teams for continuous improvements.

Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action implementation.

Required Experience & Skills

Strong experience in L2/L3 support for enterprise applications (telecom preferred).

Knowledge of M6 platform, OMS workflows, and operational support processes.

Hands-on experience with source code management tools (Git, SVN, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for log, code, and system analysis.

Experience with scripting (Shell/ Python/ SQL) for automation and diagnostics.

Good understanding of monitoring tools, performance tuning, and infrastructure concepts.

Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-team coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in telecom OSS/BSS systems.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment operations.

Exposure to high-availability and large-scale production environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?352,126.95 - ?1,536,587.94 per year
