As a Software Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for the development of a set of modules in the distributed IoMT Internet of Medical Things platform. You will be part of the scrum team, working closely with the tech lead, Architect, scrum lead and team members.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Work as part of an Agile Scrum team contributing to the software development
Follow coding standards and best practices.
Develop and maintain set of functionalities or components
Assist in debugging and testing applications developed by you or the team.
Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives and other scrum ceremonies.
Collaborate with team members to complete tasks.
Identify the scope of the work and provide estimates with good accuracy.
Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and automation as suggested by the technical lead.
Maintain up-to-date documentation with good quality.
Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
Understand the codebase, architecture, and development processes.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 6 months to 1 year of software development experience with good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle.
Required Technical Skills:
Hands on experience of java programming and the concepts
Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and coding principles.
Good knowledge on Design Patterns
Desired Technical skills:
Exposure of microservices
Exposure to developing containerized applications/services in Docker/Kubernetes environment.
Desired Characteristics
Strong communication skills and able to interact with other team members, tech leads, architects.
Effective team player and problem-solving abilities
Learning new technologies and learning from senior team members
