Software Engineering Senior AnalystPosition OverviewSoftware Engineer supporting Cigna's Provider Technology organization. This role requires you to be fluent in some of the critical technologies with proficiency in others and have a hunger to learn on the job and add Value to the business. Critical attributes of being a full-stack engineer among others is Ownership & Accountability. In addition to Delivery, the Senior analyst should have an automation first and continuous improvement mindset. He/she should drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and support the improvement of the tools sets/processes. This person needs to understand the interrelationships between systems and be able to write working software that will successfully integrate and interface these systems.Responsibilities

• Design and implement the software in for provider experience group on various initiatives.
• Provide support to our end-users by resolving their issues, responding to queries, and helping them analyze/interpret the results from the models.
• Develop, code, and unit test with variety of cloud services and infrastructure code using Terraform and testing automation pipeline.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Develop reusable infrastructure code for commonly occurring work across multiple processes and services.
• Participate in planning and technical design discussions with other developers, managers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals.
• Manage the Pipeline using JENKINS to move the application to higher environments such as System Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Release Testing, and Users Training environments.
• Contribute to production support to resolve application production issues.
• Follow the guidelines of Cloud COE and other teams for production deployment and maintenance activities for all applications running in AWS.
• Manage the application demos to business users and Product Owners regularly in Sprint and PI demos.
• Work with Business users and Product Owners to understand business requirements.
• Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning and user stories grooming with Scrum masters, developers, QA Analysts, and product owners.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to provide daily work status updates to the Scrum master and product owner, following Agile Methodology.
• Understand best practices for using the Guarantee Managements tools and applications.
• Previous experience working as a react.js developer.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and front-end languages.
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Experience with user interface design.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including Mocha and Jest.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

• Overall Years of Experience: 3- 5 Years
• Front-end Engineering; 3+ years experience with ReactJS framework, web development and UX design
• Experience in Microservice Architecture.
• Experience in Unit Testing automation, Test Driven Development, and use of mocking frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Hands on experience in infrastructure as a code in a Terraform.
• Hands on Experience in AWS Cloud Development
• Experience in CI/CD tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Jenkins, Conduits, GitHub.
• Experience with enterprise security Including IAM Roles & Policies, Auth0/Okta, Encryption, API Gateways, Firewalls, Private Cloud)
• Experience in SSO (SAML, OPENID)
• Experience with Application Monitoring Tools (Splunk, CloudWatch, Dynatrace etc)
• Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Engineering matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

• Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting.
• Meeting with the development team to discuss user interface ideas and applications.
• Reviewing application requirements and interface designs.
• Identifying web-based user interactions.
• Developing and implementing highly responsive user interface components using react concepts.
• Writing application interface codes using JavaScript following react.js workflows.
• Troubleshooting interface software and debugging application codes.
• Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Monitoring and improving front-end performance.
• Documenting application changes and developing updates.
• Candidate should be a self-starter and be able to get productive from day one. Excellent communication skills is a must along with ability to work under tight deadlines
• Health Insurance experience is a plus

Location & Hours of Work

• Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate
• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
