Job Summary

Keystone Engineering Manager - the qualified candidate will manage a strong team of engineering professionals. The team is responsible for delivering Keystone releases impacting UI and API deliverables, guidance for architecture and design decisions, workflow analysis and modeling across all major areas of NetApp Keystone.

Essential Functions:

Manage the architecture, development and testing for the various product releases. Ensure that the team is influencing product designs to deliver competitive product performance, providing schedule and resource needs for Keystone projects, and reporting progress on these projects at engineering review forum Work closely with various engineering development teams as well as product marketing teams to help drive agenda, understand performance needs for various teams, establish clear objectives and plans, prioritize and coordinate performance team's deliverables for various development projects. Manage people and AWFs to ensure maximum productivity. Coordinate with customer support, field teams, and other engineering teams to provide solutions for complex performance issues at customer sites. Manage hiring and staffing of the performance team and shape the organization to scale effectively with future growth. Assist in driving the vision and company-wide Keystone strategy and leading cross-organizational efforts to meet product competitive and consistent performance goals. Manage and drive to resolution critical customer issues and escalations in the field.

Responsibility:

This position is responsible for managing many tasks and the focus of this role is on creating and influencing strategy and processes. The potential impact of decisions made by this individual have significant operational impact. This individual will apply in-depth knowledge to solve broad issues that are complex in scope and establish medium to long- range plans.

This individual must work effectively with employees within and outside of their function and organization. Utilizes people skills and available people manager tools to critically impact the growth of an individual within the company and career. This individual must demonstrate favorable results through providing leadership to the function

Education

A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master's degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 8 years of experience as an individual contributor and a minimum of 2 years as a people manager is required.
