Accountabilities
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team based in India.
Oversee the delivery of scalable backend, data, and integration systems that support global growth.
Lead modernization, observability, and performance optimization initiatives to improve system reliability.
Partner with global engineering and product peers to align on roadmaps, strategy, and execution.
Champion AI-assisted development practices to accelerate innovation and improve engineering efficiency.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and strong engineering craftsmanship.
Requirements
7-10 years of total experience, including 2+ years managing engineering teams.
Strong expertise in backend or data engineering, ideally with Python, AWS, and SQL.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster team growth and mentorship.
Demonstrated experience in building scalable systems and modernizing technical environments.
A growth mindset, proactive approach, and strong leadership presence.
Fully remote work setup meeting the following minimum requirements:
o Intel i3 (4th gen or higher) or equivalent processor
o At least 4 GB RAM
o Windows 10+ or macOS
o Dual monitors (provided by candidate)
o Stable wired internet connection (DSL, cable, or fiber with 10 Mbps+ plan)
o PC headset and HD webcam (720p minimum)
