This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all systems

Responsibilities

Participate in all aspects of the software development process including, requirements, designing, coding, unit testing, quality assurance, and deployment
Use the right mix of open source technologies and home grown distributed commuting frameworks to build software that meets the requirements
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, application robustness and security policies
Use the agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM, for quick turnaround time
Involved in both High and Low system design brainstorming session and document them
Write high performance JAVA code using J2E stack, Spring Frameworks and Build microservices
Build and deploy and trouble-shoot issues in Tomcat, Apache container in LINUX environment
Migrate Monolethic application to Microservice based application with low latency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Exposure with Financial Risk, financial products and ability to work with business to develop use cases

At least 4+ years of hands on software development experience in Java/J2E technologies

Hands on working experience in Spring 3 (JPA, RESTful Services, MVC)

hands on experience with cloud implementations

Provide technical leadership to team while driving innovation solutions

Hands on working experience in Tomcat/Apache environment

Hands on working experience in HTML, JSP, JavaScripts, Servlets

Minimum of 4 years of experience as software developer in agile development environment

Good hands-on experience with multiple open source agile methodologies and tools

4-8 years of experience in Core Java fundamentals, memory management, high efficiency coding, collection API and spring framework, SQL

2-3 years of experience in developing applications on cloud platforms with microservices based implementations

Experience working in designing high throughput and low latency application

Experience working with cloud platform

Having experience in migration projects wherein monolothic applications are migrated to service oriented implementations

Excellent understanding of, web-servers e.g. Tomcat,, build tools e.g. maven build, Jenkins etc.,

Good analytical and technical problem-solving skills

Good written and oral communication capabilities

Ability to quickly learn new product or skill, enthusiastic about emerging technologies
