Position Overview

As a Software Engineering Intern (AI Development Track), you will work alongside experienced software engineers to design, build, and deploy web-based applications that power Nao Medical's digital ecosystem. You'll gain real-world exposure to full-stack development, AI integration, and cloud deployment practices--while contributing to projects that directly improve patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining front-end and back-end components of Nao Medical's web applications. Contribute to projects built using

React/Next.js (frontend)

and

Python/Flask/FastAPI (backend)

. Participate in integrating AI and automation tools into internal systems. Collaborate with senior engineers on code reviews, version control (Git), and feature enhancements. Support deployment workflows and containerization using

Docker

. Document technical processes and assist in maintaining project documentation. Stay updated on software engineering best practices and emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

Education:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

Strong foundation in

Python

and familiarity with frameworks like

Flask

or

FastAPI

. Basic understanding of

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

, and modern front-end frameworks (React or Next.js preferred). Familiarity with

Docker

and

cloud platforms

(GCP, AWS, or Azure) is a plus. Experience using

Git/GitHub

for version control. Eagerness to learn, contribute, and adapt to fast-paced project environments.

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Growth-oriented attitude and openness to feedback.

Technical Requirements:

Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).Computer/laptop with Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB RAM minimum, and 128GB free storage. Dual-screen setup preferred. Webcam (1080p or higher) and microphone for team communication.
