Job Overview:

In this role, you will develop innovative web a based software solutions(SaaS) for Transportation business. You will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of a component, feature and/or feature set. You will be an individual contributor and will work in a team environment demonstrating technical & problem solving skills.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for developing web in a fast paced and agile development environment using latest software development technologies and infrastructure for NPI products
• Work with team leaders and senior team members to understand product requirements
• Maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing and code quality automation
• Work in an environment of developers using open source development tools.
• Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas through white boarding
• Work as an individual contributor and take guidance from the technical leader

Basic Qualifications:

• Master\'s/Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronics or Electronics and Telecommunication or Computer Science or Instrumentation or equivalent with at least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in Java, Python related technologies.
• Proficient in the following technologies: Core Java, Spring,Struts,GWT, Spring boot, Docker & any Database (Relational, NoSQL - MongoDB or Couchbase)

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience working as part of teams following Agile Scrum methodology
• Willingness to develop as a full-stack developer
• Hands-on experience with UI technologies, JavaScript toolkits and frameworks.
• Experienced on developing, deploying and managing \xe2\x80\x93 Microservices.
• Experience on Cloud platform -AWS etc.
• Containerization technologies like Docker knowledge is good to have

• Experience with software version management (SVN, Git/Gitlab)
• Experience with Rally, Confluence & Box
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
