Role Title: Software Engineering Advisor

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and QA business intelligence (BI) solutions using a variety of BI tools. Candidates must have solid experience in designing, developing, testing, and implementing Tableau and PowerBI reports using traditional data center and cloud environments. This role will work directly with business partners and other IT team members to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions within Agile methodology and participate in all phases of the development and system support life cycle.

& Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, Unit test and Maintain complex Tableau and PowerBI dashboards.
• Provide reporting solutions to user queries
• Be comfortable working within a scrum team
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies (e.g. daily scrum, story refinement, sprint planning, Program Increment (PI) planning, retrospectives)
• Share your perspective and prior experiences for the betterment of the team

• Overall 8 - 10 years of experience

• Hands-on experience on Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience in other BI tools: Business Objects, Cognos, ThoughtSpot.
• Knowledge in CI/CD environment

• Bachelor\'s degree in software engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

• SQL skills, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, Universe Design & Development using IDT, Automate QA scripts within CI/CD Process

• Tableau and PowerBI expert, able to build dashboards from scratch, understand existing dashboards and apply sql skills and creative techniques for better user experience.
• Able to translate business requirements into effective dashboards that provides insights and drive decision making.
• Demonstrate an understanding of agile development practices
