About the Team:

The Enterprise Loyalty Team is responsible for building and managing the loyalty platform and services that power the loyalty program for DIY and PRO customers. The team ensures seamless rewards points, allowing customers to earn and redeem points efficiently. It also manage tier, ensuring customers receive appropriate benefits based on their loyalty tier status. Additionally, the team focuses on customer engagement by offering personalized rewards, promotions, and point boosters. Our work goes beyond just our team - we also collaborate with digital and stores, and downstream system.

Job Summary:

As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the services of our applications. you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying scalable and reliable enterprise applications using Java Springboot and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products and be a part of a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the engineering team, product team to understand project requirements and objectives. Design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions. Develop and maintain APIs to support other Intergrated systems Integrate data storage solutions and ensure optimal performance. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Responsible for writing code, system & integration testing, ensuring deployments to various environments Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring high levels of application performance, security, and scalability. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in development.

Years of Experience:

2+ years' experience in software development or a related field. 2+ years' experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC) 2+ years' experience in database technologies

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

:

Bachelor's Degree or master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field

Skill Set Required:

Primary Skills (must have)

Candidate must be having extensive hands-on experience in the following:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Data Structures Object Oriented Programming concepts Design Patterns Strong hand on experience with

Java

and

OOPs concepts

Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

or

Micronaut

REST Services

and

Microservices Architecture

One or more

Relational and NO-SQL databases (MongoDB & Postgress preferable)

Understanding of

CI/CD tools

Experience with version control systems, preferably

One or more Test automation tools like

xUnit , Selenium, JMeter

Messaging technologies like

Kafka

. Should good and effective communication skills. Good attitude towards learning new things and taking initiatives. Good team player as well as individual contributor.

Secondary Skills (desired):

Knowledge of cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Knowledge of containerization tools

(Docker)

and orchestration tools

(Kubernetes)
