Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in webMethods, webMethods.io, Apache Kafka, and modern integration patterns. The role supports the development, configuration, and maintenance of API-led and event-driven integrations across the organization's technology estate.



As an SFIA Level 3 engineer, you will work under broad guidance from senior engineers, delivering integration features, resolving issues, and contributing to platform enhancements.

You may be required to provide out-of-hours standby support to ensure timely incident resolution and maintain operational continuity.



KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



Deliver development and configuration tasks across both webMethods and Kafka integration services.



Build integration flows, mappings, orchestrations, and transformation logic.



Support development of Kafka producers/consumers, topics, schemas, and lightweight stream processing flows.



Follow platform standards, reusable patterns, and integration guidelines.



Debug and resolve integration defects and production incidents under senior engineer guidance.



Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to low-level design documentation.



Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure quality integrations.



Maintain platform documentation and reusable artifacts.



Participate in Agile ceremonies.



Support adoption of API-led and event-driven integration best practices.
