Code, develop, design, and architect features within the existing application ecosystem.
Own modules end-to-end and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server applications.
Contribute across the entire app lifecycle: design, build, deploy, test, release, and ongoing support.
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and release new products.
Ensure performance, reliability, and stability across all server functions.
Continuously explore, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in high-performance organizations or startups.
Expertise in Java/J2EE technologies and solid understanding of design patterns.
Strong proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving.
Experience with e-business/e-commerce applications or similar environments; exposure to internet or travel companies is a plus.
Strong knowledge of performance-oriented design, scalability, and system availability.
Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with MongoDB and Web services.
Experience using tools like Instruments and Shark for memory leak detection and performance optimization.
Solid grasp of memory management, multithreaded programming, and system-level optimization.
Experience writing Unit Tests and Automation Tests; exposure to Test-Driven Development is an added advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in an informal, fast-paced startup environment.
