Role Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development, be comfortable working with databases, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Define, architect, and manage the full lifecycle of data governance products. Employ creative thinking and innovative approaches to problem-solving. Proactively identify potential issues and communicate them effectively to both the team and management. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to ambiguous problem statements. Deliver high-quality results from initial concepts. Should be able to identify usage of LLMs for daily activities and indentify potential usecase to build AI Agents across DGS products Embrace open-source technology and identify the fitment of the usage within the purview of PayPal policies

Your day to day

In this role, the individual will be part of the Data Discovery team and will be responsible for.

Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications Build reusable, efficient, and scalable code Design and manage APIs and microservices. Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic. Ensure applications meet performance, security, and scalability standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebases. Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements Participating and collaborating with cross functional teams in the organization to understand the business requirements and to deliver solutions that can scale. Creativity and out of the box thinking is required. Proactively anticipating problems and appropriately communicating to the team and management in a timely manner. Being flexible and being able to support all functions of product life cycle when required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to deliver from coarse grained requirements. Using LLMs for development if required

What do you need to bring-

2 - 4 years of experience in the IT industry, experience in Data Technology space is preferred. Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js / Angular / Vue.js. Back-End: Node.js, Express.js, Java / Spring Boot, Python / Django, or .NET (depending on stack). Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis). Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket. DevOps/Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS / Azure / GCP. APIs: RESTful, GraphQL. Testing: Unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, JUnit). Strong in cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Experience with File Systems, server architectures, and distributed systems Strong communication skills and willingness to take initiative to contribute beyond basic responsibilities Working experience in an Agile methodology is highly preferred Knowledge and Working experience on Cloud platforms is highly preferred Knowledge in identifying use case of usage of AI and LLMs Keen to embrace open-source technology for data governance products
