Job Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong expertise in backend and web application development, along with proven success in leading engineering teams. Experience with mobile applications is a plus. The ideal candidate should be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering scalable, secure, and performant applications.

Key Responsibilities:


Lead and manage a team of web and backend engineers to build reliable, scalable applications.


Own the technical delivery of projects -- from planning to deployment.


Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and other stakeholders to define scope and timelines.


Ensure sound engineering practices: architecture design, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, documentation.


Provide mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.


Drive innovation, resolve blockers, and continuously improve team velocity and code quality.


Play a hands-on technical role when needed -- reviewing code, debugging, and solving system-level problems.

Requirements:


Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


6+ years of total experience, including 4+ years of hands-on experience in backend and web development.


Minimum 2 years leading engineering teams with proven delivery ownership.


Strong backend skills in Node.js, Python, Java, or equivalent, and experience with REST APIs, microservices, or event-driven architecture.


Solid experience in web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Angular, or Vue.js).


Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and CI/CD.


Excellent problem-solving, technical decision-making, and communication skills.

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
