Software Engineering (Sr. Associate) - Reputation Risk As a member of our Software Engineering Group, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. We embrace a culture of experimentation and constantly strive for improvement and learning. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading software development, in an agile environment, interfacing closely with the business, quantitative research analysts, and upstream as well as downstream technology teams across the firm.
  • Develop robust, performant software products and enrich existing applications.
  • Developing frameworks, metrics and reporting to ensure that progress can be measured, evaluated and continually improved.
  • Developing new strategy, roadmaps, architecture, delivery plans, proof of concepts and having hands-on responsibility for delivering on key business objectives, including our cloud-based modernization agenda.
  • Be responsible for the entire SDLC: Requirement gathering, designing, implementation, testing, debugging and maintaining Reputation Risk applications and reports across all lines of business.

Qualifcations

  • BE/BTech Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient development experience with Core Java, Springboot, SQL and JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • React knowledge will be plus
  • Understanding of architecture and design across all system
  • Professional development experience with SQL databases
  • Knowledge of software engineering best-practice across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Experience communicating to business facing customers and technical teams
  • Ability to influence software engineering best practices.
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter who is motivated to take ownership to drive projects and tasks
  • Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
