The Tools & Software Team is looking for an excellent software engineer who can contribute to our in-house python-based tools for TTS product improvement.

We are the tools and software team within Language and Speech Services. We develop the tools that help in improving the quality of our TTS product.

The team is looking for an excellent Python engineer who can contribute to evolution, maintenance, and support of the tool environment for TTS voice data creation, testing and releasing. More specifically GUI tool for speech annotation (Voice Check). Automation of voice build tool chains both for standard and Neural TTS, CI/CD pipelines and GUIs for voice releasing, QA tools.

The selected candidate will be working with the Europe team in an agile environment and support peers in Pune in delivering high quality results.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Europe team for getting the requirements of new features, existing bug fixes assignments and doing the analysis, development, production support, maintenance of tools.

Attend and contribute to the weekly meetings, sprint reviews, accuracy check analysis of feature/fixes output with remote team.

Involved in the test automation development.

Provide the support in other internal tool (python scripts) at demand.

Must-have Qualifications:

At least 3-5 years of working experience on Python development.

Experience with automation of processes and procedures.

Familiarity with CI-CD practices and systems.

Knowledge of software version control management (e.g., git), ticket systems (e.g., JIRA)

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language

Nice to have skills:

C/C++ GUIs and signal processing.

Experience in Text to Speech.

Conda package management.

Unix/Linux experience (user level)

Education: MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
