We're looking for a Software Engineer to:



design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees using Java/J2EE, Container as a Service (CaaS) and Azure Cloud technologies the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting Java-based applications in a cloud-native environment. This role requires proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, along with hands-on experience in leveraging UNIX, Linux, and CaaS platforms and Azure Cloud services to build scalable and resilient solutions. the candidate should have a good knowledge of the Database and very good at writing the complex SQL queries and should have good knowledge of Database Performance Tuning. apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues understand, represent, and advocate for client needs share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in the GOTO team in Pune, India focusing on Network and Account Management Portfolio which is responsible for the end to end Business Solutions and Support of IT applications serving the maintenance of Accounts, Service Providers, and Vendors, and Post Trade Fee Calculation (Brokerage, Connectivity, Exchange Fee, and Bank Charges), and automated Vendor Invoice Reconciliation and Payments.



We have a small team with individual contributors who can manage and take care of the tasks entirely by themselves. The team is knowledgeable on variety of Platform and Technologies relevant to the current Industry standards of Cloud Computing, Agile, and DevOps standards.

Your expertise

Bachelor or master degree in Computer Engineering or IT Engineering or equivalent focusing on the development of Banking Applications that includes domain areas of Accounts, Vendor onboarding and maintenance, Fee Calculation, Invoice Reconciliations and Payments. ideally 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar position focused on Investment Banking within the finance sector interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing fluent in speaking and writing in English. Java, J2EE, SQL, RDBMs Agile, CI/CD, DevOps Unix, Linux, Container framework like Kubernetes Microsoft Azure Cloud Technology
