Job Title: Software Engineer (.NET & Azure)
Location: Pune

About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will join our international R&D team and contribute to the development of our flagship product, CostX. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to apply and grow their skills in .NET and cloud technologies. You will work on the back-end services that power our desktop and cloud solutions, contributing to new features and the continuous improvement of the product within a supportive, global team.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain high-quality back-end services and applications using C# and the .NET framework. Contribute to the evolution of CostX by working on new functionality and software improvements for our desktop and web environments. Participate in system analysis, design, coding, and unit testing under the guidance of senior team members. Be involved in the full development lifecycle, from initial design discussions to deployment and support. Work with the team to utilize and support our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for automated deployments. Assist in triage activities by helping troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments. Work closely with product managers, QA, and other developers in a collaborative international team. Actively participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and team meetings in an Agile environment.

Essential RequirementsAt least 3 years of professional experience in a software development environment. Solid professional experience with C# and .NET frameworks (.NET Core, .NET 5+). Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL). Exposure to Azure DevOps, including source control (Git) and CI/CD concepts. A good understanding of object-oriented programming principles. A proactive approach to problem-solving and debugging. Good command of spoken and written English. A graduate degree or higher diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Desired Skills and CompetenciesFamiliarity with Delphi: Our CostX product has a Delphi-based front-end. Any exposure to Delphi would be beneficial. Web Development: Basic knowledge of JavaScript. Agile Experience: Prior experience working in an Agile/Scrum development team. Database Knowledge: Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases. Architectural Interest: An interest in learning about microservices or distributed systems.
