We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to:



design and develop strategic Code Profiling and Conversion applications in an exciting and high-profile environment be involved in the entire Software Development Lifecycle, working closely with partners from business and technology around the globe collaborate with your peers to shape the future architecture of our Code profiling and Conversion applications own the delivery of features and initiatives write clean, efficient and maintainable code in Python perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. mentor other engineers to grow their engineering skills towards best practices and engineering excellence

Your team

You'll be working in the Application Profiling and Conversion POD of the Application Refactoring Crew, as part of the Technology division in Zurich. We deliver software that enables application migrations towards strategic platforms across the bank. This benefits our Lines of Businesses with IT Solutions running on the latest versions of technology.


As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play an important role in driving the change and fostering continuous improvements.

Your expertise

proven track record of building critical, distributed systems in Python solid experience with distributed tasks as well as technologies like Flask, Django, Celery, Liquibase, Pytest, Git/GitLab, Docker good compilers domain knowledge, code parsers and basic experience in Java practical experience with Azure solutions like PostgreSQL, Redis Cache, NoSQL DBs, OpenAI, Data Lakes strong communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment proven usage of AI tools to accelerate development experience with LLMs and RAGs is a nice-to-have experience in Frontend development in React/TS is an additional nice-to-have
