As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in our IT service delivery processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business needs into technical requirements, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ServiceNow platform.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design ServiceNow solutions that align with organizational goals.
Design, develop and implement complex workflows, automation, and integrations with third-party systems to meet business needs, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality. Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features
Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow components, including IT Service Management, Field Service Management, Integrated Risk Management, App Engine Studio & Automated Testing Framework.
Hands-on experience with Virtual Agent, Service Portal, Mobile App, Configurable Workspace, UI Builder, Flow Designers & ESC Pro.
End-to-end integration experience using Scripted REST/SOAP API, REST/ SOAP API (Outbound & Inbound), Authentication Process, Data Source Integration methodologies & familiarity with IntegrationHub spokes.
Highly desirable experience with advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting, and developing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business needs.
Experience working with JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, HTML, XML, and Angular with advanced scripting capabilities.
Analyse and resolve technical issues related to the ServiceNow platform, including debugging, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of ServiceNow configurations and solutions, including technical design documents and user guides.
Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices and emerging features and propose and implement enhancements to optimize the platform.

Required experience
Overall 5+ years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer; including experience in custom application development.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification (required).
ServiceNow Implementation Certified
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Script, and other scripting languages used in ServiceNow.
Experience with REST and SOAP web services, as well as integration methods.
Ability to work in a complex large multinational company.
Demonstrable experience of working in a complex operational IT environment
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master's preferred).
Strong knowledge of IT service management and best practices.
Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON) and database concepts.
Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems
