Position description:
We are looking for a
Laravel Developer
to build web applications for our company. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering high-quality web applications, services, and tools for our business. You should be adept at utilizing Laravel's GUI and be able to design a PHP application from start to finish.
Qualifications/skills required:
A solid understanding of application design using Laravel.
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS5, jQuery, Bootstrap, Javascript, SCSS.
Practical experience using the MVC architecture.
Experience working with PHP, performing unit testing, and managing APIs such as REST.
Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.
Must have proficient knowledge of OO concepts including design patterns
Experience working with third party SDK or APIs.
Experience in deploying applications using Cloud Services such as Amazon EC2
Ability to write clean, well-documented code that follows good coding practices
Experience using Source Code Management system like SVN, CVS or GIT
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to changing prototype requirements at all stages of development.
Problem-solving skills and critical mindset.
Great communication skills, the desire and ability to learn.
Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Designing and building web applications using Laravel in accordance with established standards.
Develop web applications to support the user interface, communications, storage and logging for the project.
Utilize third party SDK/APIs to integrate with other software modules.
Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects.
Ensuring that integrations run smoothly.
Test the web applications, troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.
Testing functionality for users and the backend.
Devising possible solutions to anticipated problems
Coordinate with the cross-functional teams to build apps in stipulated time/budget.
