Job Description

DOT NET DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES o Translate application stories and requirements into functional applications. o Design, code, and maintain efficient and reliable C# code. o Write neat and clean code mostly for desktop application. o Create test cases and follow test cases to implement the requirements. o Maintain legacy code and implement the new requirements in best possible way. o Prepare use case/ flow diagram when needed. o Regular follow up for tasks assigned from development phase to QA QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS o Bachelor of Engineering in Computer/IT or equivalent degree in Computer related studies MUST HAVE SKILLS o Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of object-oriented programming o Ability to write reusable C# libraries o Familiar with design patterns o Experience in writing unit test and integration testing in Nunit Framework. o Knack for writing clean, readable C# code. o Strong knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies o Experience working with source control systems, such as Subversion, and GIT including branching and merging strategies. o Web Service Frameworks (RESTful, SOAP) PREFERABLE SKILLS o Knowledge of JavaScript based front-end frameworks like ember.js, angular.js etc would be an added advantage. o Working knowledge of MVC design patterns. o Experience in Continuous Integration leveraging tools such as Bamboo and Maven. SOFT SKILLS o Ability to work independently or as part of a team o Experience of working in SCRUM/Agile team would be added value o Persuasive in both written and verbal communication o Strong Analytical Skills o US Healthcare experience would be added value
