What will you enjoy in this role?

As a Software Engineer in the Epsilon Prospect Product Development team, you will build and enhance scalable data engineering solutions on AWS/GCP and Databricks. You will work with modern big-data technologies to deliver reliable pipelines and contribute to the platform's continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and Spark. Build production-ready batch data workflows on AWS/GCP and Databricks. Contribute to performance tuning and optimization of data processing jobs. Work with product and engineering teams to understand functional requirements and implement solutions. Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices. Support deployments, testing, documentation, and day-to-day operational tasks.

Qualifications

E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline. 2-6 years of software engineering or data engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and Apache Spark. Working knowledge of Databricks (clusters, jobs, notebooks, SQL warehouses). Good understanding of AWS/GCP services such as S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, Athena, BigQuery, and EventBridge. Exposure to streaming tools (Kinesis, Kafka, SQS) is a plus. Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (Aurora, DynamoDB, MongoDB). Familiarity with Data Lakes and Delta Lake concepts. Basic experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket pipelines, Terraform). Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Ability to take ownership of development tasks including coding, testing, and documentation.

Advantageous to have experience in the following:

AWS & Databricks Certifications Experience with Azure or GCP
