Job Brief
Looking for a Kotlin developer with 2-3 years of experience to build and maintain hybrid applications using Kotlin Multiplatform and WebView-based web UIs. The role involves working closely with React/JavaScript frontends rendered inside WebView, integrating them with shared Kotlin/Java business logic and backend services.
You will collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to deliver responsive, maintainable applications, focusing on clean architecture, reliable API integration, and smooth communication between web and native layers. Familiarity with cloud-hosted REST services (Node.js on AWS) is expected. Android experience is a plus, but the role is not limited to Android-only development.
Job description: Software Engineer Roles and Responsibilities
2-3 years of hands-on experience in Kotlin and Java
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
Experience building UI for Web based applications
Good understanding of JavaScript ? native interop (WebView bridges, JSON messaging)
Experience working with REST APIs and asynchronous data handling
Familiarity with Node.js-based backend services
Working knowledge of AWS services (such as EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda) for backend and API integration
Understanding of application architecture and separation of UI and business logic
Experience with build tools such as Gradle, npm, or yarn
Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues across web and native layers
Basic exposure to Kotlin Multiplatform concepts and shared business logic
Familiarity with Android (Kotlin, WebView, lifecycle) is a plus but not mandatory
