Job Description

Inquisitech Engineering Solutions is a startup company for providing Engineering Services to Clients in the field of Electrical Power and Industrial automation. The candidate should have a knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA Design and Development, testing and support Field commissioning. As a programmer, the candidate should have a basic knowledge of working on CAD drawings, understand functional description, schematics diagrams, flow charts development and Programmer as per Clients specificaiton. The role partially involves travel to customer sites during factory integration, installation and commissioning as well as post-sales support.

Required Skills

2-5 years of experience in PLC and HMI programming, preferably in the switchgear or industrial automation domain. Good understanding of LV/MV switchgear, electrical circuits, and protection/control schemes. Hands-on experience with PLC programming. Experience in developing HMI/SCADA screens, graphics, and control interfaces. Good understanding of control wiring, interlocking logic, and panel design. Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, etc.). Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and Microsoft Office for documentation work. Ability to read and interpret SLD, control schematics, and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Develop PLC programs and HMI/SCADA interfaces for switchgear and automation systems. Prepare and maintain PLC I/O lists. Select PLC and HMI hardware based on project requirements. Create system architecture drawings in AutoCAD. Developed PLC IO drawings in AutoCAD Electrical. Review and understand electrical drawings (SLD, schematics, wiring diagrams). Support engineering activities during design, development, and testing phases.
