About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled

Senior Software Engineer (Java + Kafka)

with a strong foundation in backend development using Java and hands-on experience in Kafka implementation. This role is critical to building scalable, high-performance microservices and event-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using

Java/JEE

,

Spring

, and

Spring Boot

Implement and manage

Kafka

for real-time data processing and event streaming Develop and expose robust

RESTful APIs

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design

microservices

architecture Write

unit and integration tests

using

JUnit

Apply

microservices design patterns

and best practices Work with

NoSQL databases

(MongoDB),

relational databases

(Oracle), and other data storage systems Optimize application performance and scalability Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and contribute to technical documentation

Must-Have Skills:

6+ years of strong hands-on experience in

Java/JEE

,

Spring Boot

,

REST APIs

1-2 years of mandatory Kafka implementation experience

(not just usage) Proficiency with

JUnit

for automated testing Solid understanding of

Microservices architecture

and

design patterns

Experience with

databases

such as Oracle, MongoDB, or other NoSQL solutions

Good to Have:

Experience with

Spring Batch

Exposure to

CI/CD

, containerization (Docker), or orchestration (Kubernetes) Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools
