Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Java experience in developing robust, scalable web applications using Java Spring Boot and Angular. This role plays a key part in enhancing our next-generation content delivery platform, with a focus on backend and frontend development, enterprise search, and data analytics integration.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 2-3 years of professional experience in Java development with strong backend and frontend capabilities. At least 2 years of experience in Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development. Solid understanding of microservices architecture and MVC frameworks. Experience with application/web servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic). Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL optimization. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Gradle). Exposure to containerization and cloud platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP). Knowledge of testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and TDD/BDD practices.

Experience with Elastic Search for implementing and optimizing search functionalities. Familiarity with Redis for caching and performance optimization. Exposure to tools like SonarQube for code quality and Jenkins for CI/CD Ability to integrate new technologies to improve systems and processes.

What will you be doing in this role?

Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Utilize Swagger for documenting APIs and Webhooks for seamless system integrations. Implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and microservices. Write high-quality, maintainable, and reusable code following engineering best practices (SOLID, DRY, TDD). Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and support automation frameworks. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Work Hours:
