Software Engineer - Java Developer
Millennium is a top tier global hedge fund with a strong commitment to leveraging innovations in technology and data science to solve complex problems for the business. We are assembling a strong technology team to build our next generation in-house risk and analytics tools. This team will develop and maintain the in-house VaR systems to support risk management and trading in Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit and FX business at Millennium provides a dynamic and fast-paced environment with excellent growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Work closely with quants, risk managers and other technologies in New York, London Tel Aviv, and Miami to develop multi-asset analytics, stress and VaR for our in-house risk and guidelines platform

Mandatory Requirements

Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with interest and/or exposure to quantitative finance. At least a BSc in Computer Science or a related financial engineering. Substantial experience using modern C++ or Java Experience working with Git / GitHub Experience in Multi-threading, Client-Server and Distributed computing. Experience working in Linux environment. Good understanding of various Design Patterns, Algorithms & Data structure SQL Database development Detail oriented, organized, demonstrating thoroughness and strong ownership of work Experience working in a production environment

Preferred Requirements

Experience with financial mathematics and statistics Java experience Experience with Docker/Kubernetes Experience with at least one cloud provider ( AWS Preferred ) Experience with NoSQL like MongoDB. Experience with Caching technologies - Redis. * Experience with Messaging libraries/systems ( Kafka/Solace )
