In this role, you'll help us innovate, evaluate, architect, setup, customize, maintain and upgrade the infrastructure & processes for CI/CD of Pega Software Development. You will expand your skills by working on a portfolio of industry leading technologies and tools spanning AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions/Webhooks/Custom Apps, Python, YAML, Artifactory, SVN etc. You will be part of a tightly knit, highly energetic team and have many opportunities to make a positive impact and grow in your career

What You'll Do at Pega:

Manage & Optimize CI/CD Infrastructure

- Evaluate, set up, maintain, and upgrade

CI/CD tools

across on-premise, AWS Cloud, and Kubernetes environments.

Automate Software Delivery

- Design and implement

GitHub Actions workflows

for build, test, and deployment automation with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency, using

Jfrog Artifactory

for artifact management.

Develop Custom GitHub Apps

- Build and manage

GitHub Apps

to enhance pipeline automation, governance, and compliance.

Deploy & Manage Kubernetes Workloads

- Oversee containerized applications in

EKS

, implementing

GitOps best practices

using

ArgoCD

for automated deployments.

Enhance CI/CD Performance & Cost Efficiency

- Optimize

workflow execution

through caching, parallel processing, and matrix builds to

reduce runtime and costs

Improve Security & Observability

- Strengthen security, monitoring, and performance in

Kubernetes

environments using tools like

Grafana, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch

.

Provide Technical Leadership

- Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and drive automation improvements within the team.

Support & Troubleshoot CI/CD Operations

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose, perform RCAs and resolve issues critical to

SDLC tooling and CI/CD pipelines

.

Innovate & Automate Processes

- Continuously improve

SDLC DevOps workflows, automation scripts, and infrastructure stability

to boost team productivity.

Maintain Documentation & Best Practices

- Create and maintain runbooks/admin guides, troubleshooting guides, and operational documentation for CI/CD tools and infrastructure

What You've Accomplished:

CI/CD Automation & DevOps Engineering

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing

CI/CD pipelines/workflows using GitHub Actions, Artifactory, Git

for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Cloud Infrastructure & Container Orchestration

- Strong expertise in

AWS Cloud

, managing infrastructure and deployments in

Kubernetes (EKS)

using GitOps practices with

ArgoCD

.

Scripting & Automation

- Strong proficiency in

Python, AWS SDK, and REST APIs

to automate DevOps workflows, enhance governance, and improve operational efficiency.

Performance & Cost Optimization

- Skilled in improving

CI/CD efficiency

using caching, parallel workflows, and matrix builds to reduce execution time and cost.

Monitoring & Security

- Experience in setting up

observability and security best practices

in cloud-native environments using

Grafana, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch

.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Worked effectively with

developers, SREs, stakeholders, and vendors

to support CI/CD operations and resolve critical production issues.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

- Provided guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, leading discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions. Familiarity with

Gradle and Java

for build automation and dependency management and Certified

Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Kubernetes Developer (CKAD)

credentials are a plus.
