What you'll do

Develop applications with a focus on operational excellence, security, and scalability, including microservices and dataflow jobs. Apply modern software development practices, such as serverless computing, microservices architecture, and CI/CD. Write, debug, and troubleshoot code in mainstream open-source technologies, resolving problems of medium complexity. Diagnose and resolve performance issues, and triage product or system issues by analyzing their impact on network or service operations. Contribute to one or more projects, even to unfamiliar code written by other team members, with a focus on providing clear documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems with existing internal tools like Data Fabric and the CSA Toolset. Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, project planning, and the review of test plans and use case specifications. Contribute to technology roadmap and architecture discussions to transform business requirements into tangible solutions. Engage in general application development activities, including unit testing, code deployment to the development environment, and technical documentation. Work within a close-knit engineering team that utilizes agile software development practices.

What experience you need

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years experience working with software design and Java programming languages 3+ years experience with software build management tools like Maven or Gradle 2+ years experience with performance testing, and quality engineering techniques and strategies 2+ years experience with Cloud technology: GCP, AWS, or Azure
