You\'re a self-starter who will be part of an empowered agile team working on our portfolio of products. Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Through engagement with Product, QA, and Support teams, you\'ll enhance the product with new features as well as fix client-reported issues You will be demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, and you\'ll ensure that your team delivers reliable & robust software Through participation in project planning sessions, you\'ll work with other team members to analyse requirements, provide design options, and provide work breakdown and estimates of work. Working within a multi-functional agile team, you\'ll build robust software, adhering to company standards and established software methodology. To help the teams develop and learn, you\'ll review work of peers and juniors, providing advice and guidance to benefit the team. Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you\'ll inspect and adapt, finding innovative ways to make your team work more effectively. Actively participating in Scrum meetings, you\'ll give timely status updates on areas for which you are responsible. Essential Skills/Experience Required: Experienced software engineer with a solid background in developing web applications Hands-on in C# programming (with solid OOPS experience) Demonstrable experience in Angular , ASP.NET , JavaScript and SQL Server .NET Core experience is highly desirable Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing Use of source code management tools such as Git Good knowledge of SDLC and management tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence, SonarQube Experienced in a formal agile software development lifecycle Education/ Certifications: A relevant degree (preferably BE/BTech/MCA ) Azure/AWS cloud certification (good to have) At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
