What you'll do

As an Software Engineer in Regnology, you will be part of our

international Research & Development Team,

and you'll work within our

agile development cycle

in the RegTech area during on enhancing and re-launching our product called

"Regnology Transactions".

Your key accountabilities are:

You will participate in the end-to-end migration of legacy databases to the new platform, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance. You will develop scripts and tools to automate migration tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve reliability. You will be responsible for monitoring monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in existing software to ensure stability, performance, and reliability. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other teams to refine requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives. You will engage with customers when necessary to clarify requirements, gather feedback, and ensure solutions align with user needs. You will design, implement, and test new features and sub-modules in alignment with product requirements and architectural standards.

Completed university degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification. 3-5 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in developing data-driven applications using

Java

Trino SQL

, and strong knowledge of

databases. Hands-on experience building production-ready Java applications; ideally familiar with

Spring Boot

Docker

Kubernetes

. Solid understanding of

Data Lakehouse architecture

, including ACID transactions, schema management, structured data layers, and data analytics. Experience with

for code quality and static analysis. Familiarity with development toolchains (

). Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on mentality and ability to think outside the box. Collaborative mindset with a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness. Fluency in
