As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to join our team as an Oracle HCM Production Engineering Support specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) system, which is critical to our organization\'s HR processes.

Job responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for the Oracle HCM system, including troubleshooting and resolving production issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring system availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand requirements, gather feedback, and implement enhancements to the Oracle HCM system.
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks such as applying patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to ensure system stability and security.
• Monitor system health and performance metrics using monitoring tools and proactively identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including operational procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides, to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity of operations.
• Participate in change management processes by reviewing and approving proposed changes, conducting impact assessments, and coordinating implementation activities.
• Collaborate with Oracle support and vendor partners to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, including engaging with Oracle Support for service requests and patches.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents, identify contributing factors, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate and participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning exercises to ensure the resilience of the Oracle HCM system.
• Stay updated with the latest Oracle HCM product releases, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for leveraging new capabilities to enhance system functionality and user experience..

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle HCM System administration and production Support.
• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in supporting and maintaining Oracle HCM Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite HCM applications in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and workflows, including core HR, payroll, benefits administration, talent management, and employee self-service.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM configuration, customization, and integration using tools such as Oracle HCM Data Loader, HCM Extracts, and BI Publisher.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for querying and analyzing Oracle HCM database tables and writing custom reports.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. * Experience with ITIL best practices, change management processes, and incident management frameworks.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Oracle HCM certifications such as Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation Specialist or Oracle E-Business Suite Human Resources Certified Implementation Specialist are a plus.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
