As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities




Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud computing platform components such as Buildpack and Service brokers, ensuring security, auditability, and observability Evangelize and promote the adoption of Cloud Native Buildpacks within the developer ecosystem and technical community Understand all dependent components and effectively manage corresponding stakeholders Create technical designs for the development and integration of new software and system technologies Drive technical innovation and efficiency in infrastructure operations by developing tools and automation Proactively protect the firm's risk posture by identifying vulnerabilities and updating involved components Write automated tests using languages such as Python and shell scripting Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration Work with AWS Compute, Network, and Container Services Use git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins for version control and continuous integration Operate and support PaaS cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry



Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills




Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Hannds on development experience building and delivering large systems Expert-level proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, or Golang Experience in writing automated tests (Python, shell scripting, etc.) Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Experience with AWS Compute, Network, and Container Services Experience with git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins Experience with PaaS cloud platforms such as Cloud Foundry Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a desire and expertise to build and solve complex problems at scale Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, customers, and stakeholders Experience in groovy scripting



Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills




Demonstrate experience in Terraform scripting Exhibit experience or exposure to technologies around Cloud Native Buildpacks and the PCF platform Apply groovy scripting skills in relevant projects Contribute to technical communities and knowledge sharing initiatives
