The Opportunity

• Photoshop Express team is looking for energetic, dynamic and full stack engineer who can take it to the next level.
• Right now we are working on building services (personalization, referral) and their integration with Photoshop express mobile app.
• When successful, this later will be reused across wider CC ecosystem apps.
• If you don\'t have full stack experience yet, but are passionate to become full stack, you are also welcome to join team.
• In Photoshop Express, we manage a website (Client.photoshop.com), its infrastructure and backend
• services. Our front end uses NextJS framework, infrastructure is on AWS/Ethos, backend services are in spring Java, and storage db is mongo.
• Overall during your work/experience in Photoshop Express, you will touch on every part of web development and you will be able to experiment in every other area, learn from those and take them to next level.
• With various features/experiments Photoshop Express web have grown its user base from nearly zero to ~1500 installs per month in couple of months.

Skills:
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do
As a full stack engineer you will be responsible for:

• Responsible for design and architecture of new components/features.
• Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to build the technical vision, and road map for the team.
• Developing features in Photoshop Express Web and fixing bugs.
• Set up and maintenance of aws/ethos infrastructure hosting Photoshop Express website and services.
• Write new and maintain existing backend services for App.
• As a unified engineer you will be responsible for development, testing, automation and full delivery of same feature.

Requirements

• B.Tech / M.Tech degree in Computer Science from a premier institute.
• 2-7 years of relevant experience in software development.
• Should have excellent computer science fundamentals and a good understanding of design, and performance of algorithms
• Proficiency in Java springboot as primary requirement is a services engineer.
• Secondary skill requirement is front end development experience in any javascript framework.
