As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Chase Travel, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Must have working experience in developing web applications using Angular Must have working experience in developing web applications using state management framework like Redux, Flux. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions, provide necessary thought leadership to the team members. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. Expert knowledge of front-end development technologies, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap & SASS, Google Analytics. Experience in building responsive applications with frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation Code Quality Tools, like LINT, SonarQube etc. TDD Implementation using Jasmine, Karma, Jest etc. Build Tools, like Grunt, Gulp, Webpack (minimum one). Conceptual knowledge of server-side JS like NodeJS and database system, like Mongo. Web Services integration, using AJAX, knowledge of concepts like REST.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of Web Accessibility. Experience in developing Web components and Custom Elements. Experience working in multi-lingual site using Internationalization/Globalization. Knowledge of CI-CD Process.
