As a Software Engineer III - Smart DX / Thunderhead Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank - Markets Technology Team, you'll execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role. You'll be a part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Job Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintenance of high quality Thunderhead/SmartDX templates across OTC, Rates, Derivatives and Structured Securitization products Work on Thunderhead/SmartDX Release management and Regression testing Work on SmartDX API to create new job. Work on Java Script to build scripts. Handle UAT testing on linked applications impacting Thunderhead/SmartDX Templates Handle stakeholder's interaction for business requirements at all stages of the development lifecycle Debug, conducting gap analysis and requirements gathering. Work on MIS Reporting and perform analysis on template breaks Drive project initiatives to increase efficiency.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Prioritizing work loads in a multi-client environment where demand exceeds supply. Control mindset to identify process control gaps, prioritize & mitigate operational risk Proactive in problem solving and developing solutions Technical Experience in Java, XML/XSLT, SQL, Java Scripting, Unix/Linux. Experience in a Thunderhead / SMART DX Developer role.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Equities and Derivatives experience in a global financial institution, preferably in a mix of business and technical capacities. Understanding and practical experience of front to back business processes in OTC & Securitized derivative products. Technical Experience in WordML. Bachelors degree in Computer Science
