What You'll Do



FactSet is seeking a software engineer with proficiency in Python to work on Private Markets Content Pipelines with high scalability, performance, resilience, and cost effectiveness. Ownership of end-to-end product development & deployment deliverables. Contribute to multiple engineering business functions. Ensure delivering high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code, and perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines. Influence Content Collection Pipeline design and innovation Keep up to date with the new standards and practices. Strategically explore open-source opportunities to improve our workflows. Collaborate with Content stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements. Ensure adherence to Agile Methodology by working with the scrum master and product owner.

What We're Looking For



Required


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience working professionally as a Data/Software Engineer. Professional Experience with

Python, SQL

, and Cloud Native Development - Preferably

AWS.

Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases (Columns, Documents, Key-Value). Experience in building data pipelines with an understanding of

CICD methodologies.

Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A passion to provide value by enabling other developers.
Desired


Experience with Jupyter Notebooks is a plus. Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or Agile software development in general. Experience working with remote teams. Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices. Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team.
