Job responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or break down technical problems Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Experience in software development with Java, Spring Boot, Python, and cloud technologies Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages Experience designing and building enterprise-scale, high-volume Oracle data processing applications using PL/SQL, Java Stored Procedures, and triggers Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, resiliency, and security Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts and packages in Python (sklearn, Numpy, Pandas) Experience building ML models and data science applications for various use cases Experience with graph databases such as GraphDB or Neo4j Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
