Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to design and deliver advanced application solutions. You will lead complex development efforts, architect critical components, and ensure high-quality technical direction across projects. This role combines deep hands-on development with leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across technical and business teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead complex application design, development, testing, and integration efforts.
Serve as a senior technical contributor on major projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and effective solutions.
Mentor junior developers, assign tasks, and guide technical execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC, including analysis, architecture, development, and user testing.
Create and maintain clear technical specifications, documentation, test plans, and estimates.
Troubleshoot complex system interactions and performance issues across applications and platforms.
Recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance system performance and team productivity.
Participate in vendor software evaluations and architectural discussions.
Maintain expert knowledge of supported applications and environments.
Support internal controls, regulatory standards, and risk-related processes.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Works independently on high-level analysis and development while leading others on projects of any size. Engages with senior leadership, business partners, and vendors. May represent the team on committees or special initiatives and may provide backup to management when needed.
Education and Experience Required:
Full-stack development experience with Java and Angular
Associate degree + 6+ years relevant experience, or
8+ years combined education/work experience including 6+ years of systems analysis/app development
Strong knowledge of development tools, platforms, and SDLC best practices
Ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deliver results
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Experience coordinating between technical teams and business units
Proven ability to recommend solutions, drive milestones, and mentor others
Education and Experience Preferred:
Understanding of the Bank's application framework
Subject matter expertise in supported business domains and systems
Advanced knowledge of integrated applications and enterprise architecture
Ability to excel independently or as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team
Strong multitasking skills across large, complex initiatives
Mastery of end-to-end system functionality for work beyond BAU
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $53.20 to $88.65. Salary offers depend on relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and--where applicable--certifications or licensure. A competitive benefits package is also offered. About Us:
