As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Infrastructure Platforms team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. We are looking for an experienced engineer to automate existing Tableau reports and migrate them into a scalable reporting solution integrated with our evolving tech stack (SQL Server backend, ETL/SSIS, SSAS, .NET to ReactJS + Java transition). This role requires a strong understanding of BI/reporting platforms, backend data architecture, and frontend visualization technologies.

Job responsibilities

Analyze existing Tableau reports to identify opportunities for automation. Develop scripts and processes to automate report generation and distribution. Migrate existing Tableau Reports to scalable solutions. Develop and enhance frontend visualization technologies to improve user experience. Implement best practices for data visualization and user interface design. Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver solutions. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members. Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate reporting solutions with SQL Server backend, ETL/SSIS, SSAS, and .NET. Facilitate the transition from .NET to ReactJS and Java for frontend visualization. Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for efficient reporting Document processes, workflows, and solutions for future reference. Provide training and support to team members and end-users on new reporting solutions. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in BI/reporting platforms. Propose and implement improvements to existing reporting processes and solutions.
