About The Client:
An American multinational computer software company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Jose, California. They specialize in software for creating and publishing a wide range of content, including graphics, photography, illustration, animation, multimedia/video, motion pictures, and print.
Essential Job Functions:

• Own the Backstage Platform - lead design, development, deployment, and evolution of the internal developer portal (catalog, plugins, UI/UX)
• Develop and enhance TechnDocs workflows, ensuring docs are discoverable, versioned, and integrated with services
• Build self-service flows and scaffolding (golden paths) so teams can spin up new services, pipelines, or infrastructure via the portal Integrate the platform with developer toolchains: CI/CD systems, monitoring/observability, version control, issue tracking, identity/auth systems
• Manage metadata, search, and catalog functionality using PostgreSQL and Elastic Search for service discovery and documentation lookup
• Architect and build server-less/event-driven components using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and store or serve content via S3
• Design data integration pipelines using SnapLogic or equivalent for syncing platform metadata and events across systems
• Ensure the portal's performance, scalability, reliability, and security: deploy via CI/CD, monitor, and improve in production
• Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and refine architecture for stability and maintainability
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, platform, and product teams to align on roadmap, feature prioritisation, and tool adoption

Qualifications:
Requirements

• 2-5 years of hands-on full-stack development experience (especially working on internal portals or platforms)
• Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript, with strong experience in Node.js, React.js, and React Spectrum
• Prior experience customising or extending Backstage (plugins, catalog, UI) and working with TechDocs
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL and search/indexing systems (e.g. ElasticSearch) Full Stack Developer - Internal Developer Portal
• Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and S3 (or equivalent Server-less / object storage)
• Working knowledge of SnapLogic or other integration/orchestration platforms
• Clear understanding of REST APIs, MicroServices architecture, and event-driven systems Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and agile development practices
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimisation skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and influence stakeholders

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,
• Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Proven track record delivering full-stack, platform, or internal tooling project.
