We are elated to hire a Software Engineer III at Oracle Cerner. As Software Engineer III, you will make lead the Oracle Cerner interface installation project. You will provide tier-3 troubleshooting and issue resolution. You will be responsible to mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible to manage changes and project activities and communicate with impacted associates or clients. You will be responsible to code custom interfaces. You will be responsible to monitor interface project progress to assess and manage project risk and ensure quality assurance. You will be responsible to design interfaces to align with the project scope. You will be also responsible to drive interface testing strategies with solution teams. You will lead interface design and specification review sessions with clients.

You will be responsible to seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.You will be responsible to delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed. You will be responsible to lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and the team. You will be responsible to create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments. You will be responsible to provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development. You will be responsible to identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of Total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology and Information Systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience with HL7, Cerner FSI (Open Engine, Open Port), Cerner Millennium Data Model Exp
• Good understanding in HL7 certification, CCL Scripting
