As a Software Engineer II in Asset Wealth Management, we are seeking a talented React developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in front-end development with extensive experience in React.js.
As a React developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, and optimizing application performance.
Job responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or Flux).
• Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript (ES6+)
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
