As a Software Engineer II - Python at JPMorgan Chase with Commercial Bank\'s Tech Platform and Shared Services Team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Keep familiar with state-of-the-art python and AWS trends
• Quality estimation and evaluation
• Act as educator and ambassador for Python (internal training, conference presentations/workshops, papers, blog articles)
• Work with the software engineering team to turn research techniques into practical commercial solutions
• Work on use cases like file processing, tag handling, data cleaning, and translation efficiency
• Work with the software engineering team to turn research techniques into practical commercial solutions
• Lead the implementation of end-to-end projects for new client
• Develop tools that help streamline workflows and productivity for both internal and external customer
• Take ownership of the projects
• Communicate with our customers regularly for business requirements
• Take part in design discussions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills\xe2\x80\xa2

• Formal training, or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience.
• Technical Skills and Experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of core Python concepts
• Knowledge of latest trends in Python and AWS
• Good understanding of OOPS concepts (Dundder methods and monkey patching)
• Hands on experience in developing python apps and projects.
• Good understanding of python multi-threading and multi-processing
• Candidate should be aware of decorators, generators, iterators, and python context managers.
• Proficiency working in Flask web framework and microservices
• Knowledge of python pandas is a must
• Candidate should be aware of SKlearn and NLTK libraries in python
