About The Client:
An American multinational computer software company incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in San Jose, California. They specialize in software for creating and publishing a wide range of content, including graphics, photography, illustration, animation, multimedia/video, motion pictures, and print.
Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and enhance backend services to support scalable search and data platforms.
• Build and maintain data ingestion and indexing pipelines for search and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, experience design, and quality engineering to deliver impactful solutions.
• Apply strong software design and problem-solving skills to complex technical challenges.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed systems.
• Contribute to functional testing, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement of development practices.
• Stay adaptable and open to learning new technologies in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications:
Basic

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.E./B.Tech.) in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and RESTful service development.
• Hands-on experience in backend development and functional testing.
• Strong foundation in software design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Exposure to CI/CD workflows.
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical details clearly.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous situations.

Preferred

• Experience working with AWS services.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch or Solr.
• Familiarity with search engine technologies and inverted indexes.
• Practical experience in building and managing indexing pipelines.
